How to Use Articulation Station App at Home
Did you know that there are apps available to use at home that can support your child in producing age appropriate sounds in words? One of our favorite apps is called Articulation Station by Little Bee Speech. This app was created by a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist for parents, SLPs, and other educators to utilize that allows them to work with children who have difficulty producing age appropriate sounds in words.
What Does the App Do?
Targets 22 sounds in the English language at the word, phrase, sentence, and story level
Has flashcards that target each sound in the beginning, middle, and end of words
The stories come with comprehension questions for targeting language skills
Allows the child to record their production of the word and play it back for immediate feedback
Each position of sounds comes with a matching game
Allows you to track your child’s data each time – so you can see their progress over time
Sounds can be purchased individually or in bulk
Has real photographs for articulation practice; custom images can be added
Spanish version available
